Following the unveiling of their brand-new line of streaming, wireless multiroom Players—affectionately called Gen 2i—Bluesound has won two “Best Buy” awards from What Hi-Fi?.

In the category of Best Music Streamer Under £500, Bluesound’s NODE 2i took home the honour, while the POWERNODE 2i won for Best Hi-Fi System under £1000, respectively. In their five-star review of the NODE 2i, What Hi-Fi? called the component “superb” and “dynamic,” going on to say that listeners “almost certainly won’t achieve sound quality superior to that of the NODE 2i.” Likewise in their glowing review of the POWERNODE 2i, the revered publication praised the music streaming amplifier for being “bold” and “spacious.”

Featuring dual-band Wi-Fi, upgraded Bluetooth codecs, and improved amplification and acoustics, Bluesound’s Gen 2i has already been generating buzz since its launch at the beginning of the month.
